What is Spray Tan?

Also known as tanning or spray booth tanning, Spray tan is a modern technique for professional, natural application of self-tanning products. This method requires no UV exposure and is therefore gentler and safer than UV beds.

This technique uses monitored application of dihydroxyacetone (DHA), a natural sugar compound that reacts with proteins in the skin's surface layer. Through what's called the Maillard effect, it creates pigmentation that delivers a natural golden skin tone - far from the orange hues of older self-tanners.

How does a Spray Tan session work?

Pre-session preparation

Before your appointment, perform a full body scrub 24-48 hours in advance to remove dead cells for even application.

On session day, avoid makeup, deodorant, and moisturizers - any products that could create a barrier for the self-tanner.

During the session

You'll wear disposable underwear or remain nude per your preference. We provide a hair cap and barrier cream for hands/feet to prevent over-coloration.

Inside the spray booth, mist is evenly applied for 3-15 minutes followed by ventilation to dry skin and prevent drips.

After the session

Wear loose dark clothing and avoid showering/swimming for 4-8 hours to allow full product development.
