The laser sends a very precise light that is absorbed only by melanin (the pigment) of the hair, without touching the surrounding skin.

What is the difference between laser hair removal and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)?
The confusion is frequent, but these two technologies are completely different.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a diffuse and broad light. Its action is less targeted and often gives semi-permanent results. It requires more sessions, and we observe more frequent regrowth over the long term.
Medical laser (our technology) emits a concentrated and monochromatic light beam that directly targets the melanin of the hair bulb. This precision allows thermo-coagulation of the follicle, meaning permanent destruction of the hair root, without damaging surrounding tissues.
Laser is the only recognized method for permanent hair removal that lasts. It's a medical procedure, performed with hospital-grade equipment, which guarantees both safety and maximum effectiveness. If you're looking for lasting results, laser is the investment that keeps its promises.
How does laser transform the quality of your skin?
Beyond hair removal, laser is the reference medical treatment for solving skin problems related to shaving and mechanical hair removal. No more ingrown hairs and folliculitis: These inflammations of the hair follicle (red, painful, sometimes infected bumps) naturally disappear once the bulb is destroyed. How does the protocol work and what are the precautions?
For your safety and treatment effectiveness, we follow a very rigorous protocol:
Before the session:
- Shave the area 24h before: The hair must be cut close, but the root must remain intact in the follicle. No wax, tweezers, or hair removal cream in the previous month.
- No sun exposure in the 15 days before: The skin must not be tanned to avoid any skin reaction.
The diagnosis:
Before the session, we check your phototype each time to adjust the Eride-Pro machine precisely according to your complexion and hair density. All this to ensure a safe session without risk of burns.
During the session:
The procedure is quick (a few minutes to 30 minutes depending on the area). You will feel alternating hot and cold sensations. This is our skin cooling system that protects your skin and provides anesthesia in real time.
After the session:
We apply a soothing cream to calm the area. The hairs are destroyed under the skin, they don't fall out immediately. They will naturally eliminate within 10 to 20 days. Avoid the sun and moisturize your skin well.
Why is it necessary to respect the cycle of multiple sessions?
This is the most common question: "Why can't I solve everything in one go?"
The answer is purely biological. The laser only works on hairs in the anagen phase, meaning the active growth phase. At this stage, the hair is connected to its bulb and full of melanin, which allows the laser to target and destroy the follicle.
Problem: only 15% to 20% of your hairs are in the anagen phase at any given time. The others are in the resting phase (telogen) or transition phase (catagen), and therefore invisible to the laser.
That's why you need to return every 4 to 8 weeks depending on the treated area, to catch the new hairs entering the growth phase. Each session eliminates a new wave of follicles, until progressive depletion of the hair.
Expected final result: After a complete protocol, you achieve +90% elimination of your hair. The few residual hairs become very fine fuzz, almost invisible, which no longer requires regular shaving. This is what we call permanent hair removal: lasting freedom, with incomparable life comfort.
